Get paid to get hands-on experience learning everything it takes to become an arborist-- whether your interest is operating the ground crew servicing the climber aloft, or you'd like to learn how to climb and prune or dismantle trees safely and efficiently! There are many opportunities for hard workers in this industry, and even in changing times, skilled trades-workers will always be in demand.

Local tree service (Chapel Hill) seeking a new addition to our crew! Experience as a member of a tree crew (on the ground or as a climber) is a plus, but we will train the right individual from scratch. At a minimum you must have some experience with manual labor/ a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn. Ability to follow safety protocols is non-negotiable. You must be prepared to work in the heat and cold, and safety must be your number one priority on the job site! This is hard work, and it is not for everyone. But it can also be highly rewarding, and endlessly interesting with new things to learn all the time. We are a very small (young and growing) company, so finding the right fit for our crew is extremely important. Everybody needs to pull their weight and jump in to help where it is needed. We want to enjoy working with you and for you to enjoy working with us! You must have a valid driver's license, good driving record, and reliable transportation to Chapel Hill to be considered for this position.
