Currently seeking candidates for Part time
Beautiful Minds Center’s purpose is to provide a comprehensive and culturally competent program centered on the treatment and benefit of children with autism and related disorders. The program instituted at Beautiful Minds is unique in that it is progressive and incorporates innovative behavioral and teaching techniques, which are scientifically validated by current research.
Behavioral Therapists will provide one-on-one ABA-Based treatment to children who have been diagnosed with Autism and other developmental disorders. You will be following a structured teaching plan to teach new skills and reduce challenging behaviors. We provide comprehensive initial and ongoing training and support and offer ongoing opportunities for advancement.
Job Responsibilities:
•Implement programs based on ABA principles that increase communications, self-help and play skills
•Manage inappropriate behaviors
•Keep children motivated to learn
•Provide intervention in home and community settings
•Participate in trainings
•Complete clinical and administrative tasks (data recording, session progress notes etc.)
•Communicate confidentially and professionally with behavior analysts, supervisors, families and company principals
Qualifications:
•BA/BS in Psychology, Education, or related fields
•At least 1 year experience working with children with Autism and other developmental disabilities
•Experience and knowledge of basic ABA principles and methods
•Passion and enthusiasm for working with children
•Previous work experience with children
Requirements:
•Must have reliable transportation and proof of insurance
•Must be willing to drive to clients homes and/or schools
•Must pass TB and fingerprint clearance
•Must have good references
Hours: Part time Behaviorist from 3pm to evenings Monday - Friday and possibly Saturdays.

Salary ranges from $18.00 to $23.00 an hour depending on experience.
