Raritan Learning Cooperative is offering an apprenticeship opportunity to work directly with teens in a variety of roles. Share personal interests by teaching classes in a consent-based education environment. Learn the back-end of running a Self-Directed Education center.

The position is open for the upcoming 2023-24 program year at our center in Flemington, NJ. Apprentice hours and days are flexible and would include in-person time weekdays between 9 and 3. Salary is $20,000. Starting and ending dates are negotiable.

This opportunity is open to anyone who is interested in education and wants to learn more about alternatives to conventional education. We are particularly interested in someone who will bring energy and enthusiasm to the day-to-day activities with the young people at the center.

Raritan Learning Cooperative is on a mission to make Self-Directed Education for teens a viable alternative to school and to create a financially sustainable model that can be replicated by others throughout the world.
