Parental Stress Line Counselors offer help to parents over the phone. Callers are often experiencing stress and Counselors offer various tools and resources to help parents with a variety of challenges. Counselors are required to take 6 hours of Crisis Intervention and Counseling training. Please note that a CORI form is mandatory to be a counselor.

Volunteering as a Parents Helping Parents Virtual Parental Stress Line Counselor requires the following:
A minimum of 3 months of 3.5 hours per week shift coverage time
Completion of 10-hour virtual training prior to start covering shifts
Check-ins with PHP Director of Parental Stress Line
Timely submission of call record form
