Janitorial
We are currently seeking energetic and highly motivated individuals to join our team as a Janitor in construction cleaning positions located in New Albany. The job site is just off of Beech and Worthington Roads. The hours are 4:30PM to 8:30PM, Monday through Friday. The pay rate is $15.00 per hour.
This is an excellent opportunity to have a job that will pay your small bills! Candidates for this job must live within 5-10 miles of the area. I am looking for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, flexible and willing to complete routine cleaning tasks and special projects, as the need arises. The work involves typical heavy cleaning duties but on the critical side:
• Emptying trash
• Surface wiping
• High and low dusting with a cloth or duster
• Sweeping usually with a broom and dust pan sometimes with a dust mop,
• Vacuuming
• Wet mopping
• Restroom cleaning
Basic Applicant Requirements:
• lives within 5-10 miles of the area
• At least 2 years cleaning experience in the commercial janitorial industry
• drug-free (testing will be done on site before application is allowed on the job site)
• Working days 5PM-9PM Monday through Friday. There is an opportunity to add another 6.5 hours a week.
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to show up on time every day
• High school diploma/GED required
• Ability to work well under minimal supervision
• Capacity to take direction and complete tasks based on critique
• Work in a team environment to complete all required tasks
• Strong attention to detail
• Physically capable of standing or walking for 3 to 4 hours continually
• Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 10 pounds as necessary
Successful candidates must complete orientation before application is allowed on the job site. Pay days are twice a month, 5 business days after the 15th and 5 business days after the end of the month. We use an electronic application. Interested parties only need apply.
Pay rate is $16.00 per hour plus $50 gas reimbursement each pay period (twice a month).
