Elementary Teacher
St. Paul Catholic School is seeking a Full-Time Intermediate Grade Level (3-5) Teacher for the 2023-2024 school year. As St. Paul Catholic School celebrates its 93rd year, we do so with pride and thankfulness to the Franciscan Sisters of Allegany, New York, who, with their foresight, dedication, and hard work, have been the cornerstone of the school's history, and present day mission and philosophy. The Elementary Teacher will be expected to fulfill the following expectations and duties:
-Support the mission and vision of the school.
-Embodies a positive and faith-filled approach that aligns with the mission of Catholic education.
-Brings exceptional instructional abilities and an effective classroom management style to the table.
-Recognizes the significance of creating a supportive and inclusive classroom culture.
-Embraces a growth mindset and is always eager to learn and support others in their growth.
-Holds a valid Florida Teaching Certificate or is able to obtain one upon employment.
-Plans methods for student learning that are engaging and inspiring.
-Inspires student learning and goal setting.
-Maintain a strong work ethic, work well with colleagues, and support all students and teachers.
-Accept and fulfills additional duties outside of classroom and small group instruction.
-Follow all diocesan policies and procedures.
-Follow the policies and procedures in the St. Paul Catholic School Employee Handbook and the Student and Family Handbook.
-Continue professional development to ensure best practices and teaching strategies are being utilized in the learning environment.
-Complete all diocesan mandated trainings.
-A strong candidate for this position currently holds a Bachelor's degree and has a current Educator Certificate from the State of Florida (or can easily obtain one upon employment).
Employment is contingent upon a Level II Background Screening, Safe Environment Training, and reference checks.
