Responsibilities:

Assisting the class instructor in preparing and organizing world music classes for children aged 3-5 years old.
Supporting the instructor in implementing lesson plans and activities that align with the curriculum objectives.
Engaging with the children, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Assisting with the setup and arrangement of musical instruments, props, and materials required for each class.
Guiding and supervising children during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Demonstrating and instructing basic music concepts, such as rhythm, melody, and tempo, in an age-appropriate manner.
Encouraging children to explore different musical instruments and sounds, fostering their creativity and musical expression.
Assisting with maintaining a clean and organized classroom environment.
Supporting individual children who may require additional attention or assistance during class.
Collaborating with the instructor to evaluate and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents as needed.
Qualifications:

Currently enrolled college student or a recent graduate with a music major or related field.
Passion for music education and a genuine interest in working with young children.
Basic understanding of music theory and ability to play piano/keyboard plus at least one more musical instrument. More better.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and connect with young children.
Patience, creativity, and adaptability to meet the individual needs of each child in the class.
Strong organizational and time management skills to assist with class preparation and setup.
Previous experience working with young children in a music or educational setting is preferred but not required.
