Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials, move containers or open containers.
● Able to understand work order schematics and sketches.
● Understands metal types, gauges, and materials.
● Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.
● Operates numerous metal fabrication machines such as shears, brakes, presses, forming rolls, and
routers.
● Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area.
● Assists with the counting, weighing, and recording the number of units of materials moved or handled on
daily production sheet.
● Fabricates products to specific dimensions and quantities.
● Adheres to all company safety practices and procedures.
● Stacks of assembles materials into bundles and bands bundles together.
● Lifts heavy objects by hand or with power hoist, cleans work area, machines, and equipment.
● Operates forklift or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products; moves levers and
presses peals to drive lift and control movement of lifting apparatus.
● Ensures products are handled in accordance to established standards.
● Loads, unloads, straightens, and organizes products during production.
● Controls and accounts for materials in order to minimize loss and damage.
● Responsible for performing tasks and demonstrating skillsets based on the relative position levels as
outlined below.
