PART-TIME at least 2-8 hour days (8:00 - 4:00 pm) a week and one Saturday every other month
Wages: $15.00/hr

Our nonprofit organization is seeking to hire TWO PART-TIME van drivers for our program DIAL A RIDE. Drivers will assist seniors and disabled adults, giving door to door service, wherever needed in the Jacksonville Beaches area. We operate Monday through Saturday 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. Must be available some Saturdays and at least two days during the week.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Drive senior customers to their desired location in a safe and timely manner
• Safely load and unload passengers onto and out of wheelchair lifts on vans.
• Collect $5 donations on board and keep track of funds.
• Inspect and monitor your van daily before and after each use.
• Treat all passengers with respect, kindness and patients.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Safety oriented
• NO CDL license required
• Need experience driving large vehicles, customer service or other related job experience.
• A Clean driving record must be submitted prior to hire.
• Ability to handle physical workload to push wheelchair and passenger onto the lifts.
• Must pass a background check.
