A cashier and customer service will be responsible for processing customer purchases, handling cash transactions, and maintaining accurate records of sales. Their primary duties include:
1. Greeting customers and providing friendly and efficient service.
2. Scanning or manually entering product prices and ensuring accurate pricing.
3. Accepting cash, credit card, or digital payments and providing appropriate change.
4. Verifying customers' age and identification to ensure compliance with legal drinking age requirements.
5. Answering customer inquiries regarding products, prices, and promotions.
6. Bagging purchases and providing assistance with carrying items if needed.
7. Maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.
8. Balancing cash register at the end of each shift and preparing daily sales reports.
9. Collaborating with other store staff to ensure a smooth and efficient customer experience.
10. Adhering to all applicable liquor regulations and store policies
Qualifications and Requirements:
1. The applicant must be at least 21 years old or older.
2. High school diploma or equivalent education
3. The TABC (Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission) certification is required, or the
applicant should be willing to take and pass the TABC exam.
