Groomer in Training

Hours: Tuesday to Saturday
Alternative Hours: Sunday to Thursday
Times: 8 am to 5 pm
Salary: $900-1450/week plus $300-$400 in tips per week
Training Salary: 14.50/hr.

Qualifications:
 At least 6 months of professional dog bathing experience.
 At least 1 year of customer service experience.
 Valid clean driver license in the state of Texas.
 Must be willing to sign a year contract, stating that you will stay with the company for 1 year, after training is complete.

Duties:
 Will be expected to thoroughly wash, dry and comb various coat conditions, perform tasks such as nail trim and grind, ear clean, anal gland expression and brush teeth on different size, temperaments and conditions of dogs.
 Drive a truck hitched to a trailer or van to clients’ homes.
 Maintain a clean work environment.
 Attend monthly meetings.
 Maintain notes and pics in our scheduling system.
 Follow safety procedures and protocols
 Document and check off units before and after your shift.
 Will be contracted to stay with Pink Poochies, for 1 year, and in return, will be trained and mentored to be a fully experienced and knowledge groomer.
 Maintain and respect companies tools that will be loaned out to the trainee, in order to perform job

Job Details
Pink Poochies has been in establishment for 5 years, and due to a change of structure and management, we are looking for strong and stable team of groomers in training to work along the side of an amazing team. In this program, the groomer in training will be trained to groom various types of breeds and will continue to work for our company for a year. After a year, more training and education will be offered to continue learning more about breed cuts. Continuing education is important in the grooming world and Pink Poochies takes education very seriously. Tools are provided for our groomer in training’s team to use while they are working for the company.


Mobile Dog Bather
Full Time
$800-$1200/week
