Since 2019, Buffalo Brick Mortar, LLC has been a high-performing real estate investment firm that takes great pride in solving homeowners’ problems and purchasing homes in the Western New York area. We work with homeowners who are seeking to sell their homes directly to an investor and avoid the traditional real estate sales model. Our goal is to create win/win situations with our clients. We close fast, buy the home “as-is,” and have an outstanding reputation. We are expanding our construction crew to increase the number of houses we rehabilitate per month. COMPENSATION
• $52,000 - $73,000 per year based on experience.
DESCRIPTION
The goal of this position is to be part of our residential housing rehabilitation/ remodeling/ flip crew. You will be responsible for showing up each morning to one of our recently purchased, vacant houses and completing whatever necessary repairs/updates outlined in the scope of work to update the home for future sale. This mostly includes but is not limited to flooring, tiling, trim, drywall, and minor painting.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work with our team to efficiently remodel our recently purchased homes.
• Must have own set of basic tools. Skill-specific equipment provided by the company for use.
• Load and unload construction materials and tools.
• Framing
• Installing trim and baseboards
• Drywall Hanging
• Minor Painting
• Installing tile bath surrounds
• Installing vinyl plank flooring
• Installing doors and windows
QUALIFICATIONS
• Must possess a positive mental attitude, an open mind, and flexibility in your approach.
• Must be open to coaching.
• Must have exceptional problem-solving skills.
• Confidence in your ability to work with a new team.
• Self-directed.
• Minimum 2 years of construction experience.
• Must be extremely organized and detail-oriented with great time management skills.
• Must be ambitious! We’re looking for a real “Go-Getter” that wants to serve and add value.
• Must be able to use a smartphone for time-tracking purposes.
• Must live in the WNY area.
• Must have own transportation to get to job sites.
• Must be able to lift materials up to 50 lbs.
• Must have knowledge of power tools and safety.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to bend, twist, and turn body at shoulders, waist, and knees.
• Must have a basic mechanical understanding of heating, plumbing, and electrical systems.
WORK HOURS
Daily attendance at the current job site by 8am. Most days you’ll only be required to work until 5pm, but the flexibility to get projects done on time is preferred. This is a full-time, 40-hour-a-week job plus the possibility of overtime.
