Position Purpose
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for overseeing inventory management and coordinating end-to-end logistics operations. Additionally, this role entails directing copacker orders and ensuring order fulfillment in our DTC channel.
Position Responsibilities
• Strategically plan and execute the movement of raw materials from suppliers, warehouses, and co-packers.
• Coordinate the movement of finished goods out of our manufacturing facilities and into our warehouse.
• Manage relationship for all freights carriers to secure the bests rates and service for our customers across all trade channels.
• Liaise and coordinate FTL and LTL shipments as well as customer returns.
• Primary point of contact for billing and freight issues. This includes lot traceability on all invoices.
• Resolve any problems or complaints related to freight issues or pick-ups.
• Keep track of delivery times, transportation costs and efficiency.
• Manage inventory including raw materials, finished goods and packaging material.
• Take physical inventory to maintain inventory accuracy optimal storage requirements.
• Responsible for building finished product inventory and transfers in QuickBooks.
• Manage copacker orders, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment while maintaining strong relationships with our copacking partners.
• Manage Direct to Consumer (DTC) orders, shipments, and customer service.
• Print, process and pack all DTC orders placed through our online store.
• Direct, optimize and coordinate full shipping cycle.
• Ability to lift 50lbs bags of flour.
Qualifications
• At least two years of experience in logistics, fulfillment, or a similar role
• Proven ability to develop strong working relationships with internal and external partners.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities.
• Driven with a desire to learn and proven ability to work independently as well as with a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with QuickBooks and Shopify a plus.
• Positive attitude and a passion to always deliver a positive customer experience.
