We are seeking a professional, efficient, and spirited receptionist for our behavioral health agency. The objective for this position is to welcome our participants with a friendly and polite demeanor while assisting them with tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering and redirecting phone calls, and handling sensitive health information. This person will also provide administrative functions for the Program Directors. The administrative assistant is the first point of contact as well as the central navigator of the day to day happenings of the company. It is imperative that this individual possess impeccable customer service skills, is capable of maintaining a high level of confidentiality, and exudes a passion for helping others.

Job Duties
Answer telephones and greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
Take messages and ensure that the respective employees receive them.
Take referrals and provide a helpful, friendly first contact for the agency.
Perform insurance eligibility and service limit checks in a timely manner.
Accept and account for payment for services.
Confirm insurance eligibility.
Participate in certain Quality Commitment efforts to ensure quality services.
Maintain statistics that are necessary to understanding and tracking the status of the company.
Maintain and ensure the security of participant files.
Provide input to Program Directors and Administrative Services Manager concerning enhancing the functioning of the organization.
Monitor Urinary Analysis (UA’s) for clients engaged in substance use disorder treatment.
Other tasks as determined important to the overall efficiency, growth, and well-being of the company.

Requirements
High school diploma or GED.
Pass a Health Welfare Enhanced criminal history background check and Drug Test.
Computer literate and able to meet deadlines.
Positive, organized, self-driven attitude, detail oriented.

Preferred Skills
Experience working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness.
Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record systems.
Spanish language fluency.
