Internationally recognized Theatre Camp, listed as “the coolest camp for kids” by TEEN PEOPLE, located north of NYC seeks an Assistant Chef for our 2023 summer season (and hopefully beyond). all over the world. We are a coed camp divided into three 3-week sessions and we produce 42 full scale shows, in our 8 onsite theaters, over our summer season. We seek to employ energetic, youth oriented fun-loving individuals, age 21 older, to help us achieve our mission statement of “A positive experience for every camper”.

Job Description:
Successful candidate should be competent in:
• Institutional scale cooking from scratch.
• Large volume from raw ingredients.
• This type of catering is very different from restaurant cooking.
• Knowledge of cooking for dietary restrictions.
• Comfortable with taking giving instruction as well as supervising a multilingual/cultural workplace.
• A “see the problem fix the problem” attitude is a must.
• Team player.
• Flexible.
• Looking for a recurring summer position, assuming all goes well in the first year.
