Now hiring a position for a Full Time Yard Associate at Scarborough Lumber located in Boulder Creek. Our company is a locally owned and operated business that has served the San Lorenzo Valley community for over 50 years!

Position Summary:
The Yard associates primary duties are to help customers with lumber sales, including loading items and stocking. An enthusiastic, positive and supportive attitude is essential. Our associates at Scarborough Lumber are responsible for daily interactions with customers, operating machinery and supporting the management team.

Requirements:
- Must be willing to obtain and maintain forklift certification
- Previous experience in a retail environment is not required but highly encouraged
- A commitment to service excellence and customer satisfaction
- Solid team player with excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the business

Physical Requirements:

- While performing this job, the employee is regularly required to have full range of mobility in upper and lower body; be able to reach overhead, be able to work in various positions, including stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling and squatting for extended periods of time; be able to lift, pull or push materials and equipment to complete assigned job task, and be able to frequently lift 40 pounds of weight throughout the assigned workday
