Responsible for assisting Dr. Weber with patient care including taking vital signs, obtaining medical history; preparing for injectable treatments (Botox and dermal filler), LASER skin resurfacing and assisting in surgical procedures. Prepares exam rooms, escorts patients to room, and prepares them for Dr. Weber. Assists in patient education regarding medications and what to expect after surgery. Under the direct and immediate supervision of Dr. Weber, provides aid in exposure, hemostasis and other technical functions that will help the surgeon carry out a safe operation with optimal results for the patient. Other responsibilities include managing availability of necessary equipment and supplies for operative procedures, operate sterilization devices, post-operative appointments, suture removal and dressing changes. An interest in performing Micropen and PRP treatments, non-surgical body sculpting and non-ablative LASER treatments are a plus.
• Surgical Assistant or Medical Assistant license required.
• Experience in a plastic surgery office NOT required.
