Amazing family located between Delaware and Chester Counties seeks a FULL-TIME CAREGIVER to care for their two girls, ages 3 years and 5 months (at time of start) from 7am-5pm Monday-Friday.

Their eldest is in school from 8:45-3pm Monday-Friday. Primary care is for the infant while her sister is in school. The nanny will be responsible for school drop-off and pick-up for the eldest, complete infant care, and taking the baby to activities (music class, library, etc.), as well as light housekeeping during nap times (children’s laundry, straightening up, emptying the dishwasher, cleaning their messes, etc.). Mileage reimbursement is provided. Must have a safe, reliable car, DL, and clean driving record!

They seek a true professional nanny who is college-educated, preferably in the field of science or education. Someone who is bubbly and willing to put in the effort to engage with their children in a meaningful way. The ideal candidate is versed in child development and can use that knowledge to scaffold conversations and age-appropriate activities. Someone who can help the girls communicate effectively and thoughtfully, especially with talking about feelings and ways to self-regulate. Someone who is neat but understands kids can be messy and is willing to create fun experiences for their daughters.

Parents have a background in education and child development and thus understand the importance of a child feeling supported and safe in their home and look to their nanny to help facilitate that support. Their home is nurturing, and warm, and they embrace anyone who will love and care for their children like their own. The ideal candidate has a firm understanding of child development and can provide stimulating experiences for the girls and knows the importance of learning through play. Must be vaccinated for COVID, flu, MMR, and tdap. Some prior infant experience is required.

Benefits include paid sick time, vacation and holidays. Start date is flexible for the end of June or July.
