Pool Service Technician
JOB SUMMARY:
Technician will work both independently and with other crew members to help service and maintain swimming pools in the Metro Detroit Area. Our technicians are trained to learn many areas of the industry. Technician will need to be willing and able to learn new skills. We are looking for looking for hard working, reliable crew members that can service but can also help maintain swimming pools.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
1. Pool Opening and Drain and Cleans
2. System Start-ups
3. Equipment Repairs and Equipment Installations
4. Potential Tile and Surface Repairs
5. Pool Safety and Compliance Work
6. Pool Deck Set-up and Pool Enclosure Maintenance/Repair
7. Pool Maintenance and Chemical Applications
8. Health Department Compliance and Relations
9. Pool Winterizations
10. Other duties as assigned
Skills/Requirements Needed:
1. Must be 18 years of age
2. Strong work ethic
3. Ability to work well with others
4. Must have valid a driver’s license with no major driving or point violations
5. Must have reliable transportation to get to work daily
6. Must be able to pass drug test
7. Ability to work well under limited supervision
8. Knowledge and ability to use basic tools and equipment
9. Able to work weekends and holidays
10. Willing and able to work long days and overtime
Physical Requirements:
1. Good physical condition
2. Able to easily bend to pick things up and reach to pull things down
3. Able to lay and work on knees for certain repairs if needed
4. Able to work in the sun for long periods of time
5. Ability to stand for long periods of time
6. Ability to work outside in hot, cold, rain or snow/icy weather
7. Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds if needed
Pristine Pools, Inc. is a commercial swimming pool maintenance, repair and service company in SE Michigan. We primarily service Wayne, Washtenaw and Oakland Counties. During season, it is fast paced often all day. Required start time is 7 to 7:30 am. Opening and closing season days can be long up to six days per week, our business if open 7 days a week. We are looking for hard working employees willing and looking for a position to work outside and are willing to work many hours of overtime if needed. We are drug free work environment and smoking is not allowed on any of our jobsites. We take great pride in professionalism, safety, and cleanliness of the pools we maintain. Although we work hard and can work long days, we do provide a pleasurable and rewarding work environment to those that join our team. We are smaller operation, and we strive to provide a family type feel for our employees. Hard working, honest and reliable employees are rewarded at our company.
