Ballet Pointe and or Hip Hop Teacher
Inspired Dance is looking for qualified applicants who are comfortable teaching hip hop or ballet, specifically Pointe instruction for our fall classes. Pay depends on experience, skill level, and if you have teaching experience, aprrox $18-$25/hr. We are looking for someone who is able to help dancers progress in skill level and build upon their current skill levels, and are willing to choreograph a dance for our end of the year show. Warm and friendly personality that can work well with kids and can be influential in confidence building.

We are located in Meridian off of Cherry and Linder. We are a studio that seeks to instill in dancers a desire for artistry, creativity, and skill. We seek to provide a safe environment for youth to feel welcomed, loved, and important. Our studio's mission puts emphasis on modesty that is implemented in our dance instruction, music, and movement. Our dance studio has been in the treasure valley for close to 15 years with a goal of helping our students grow in their skills, technique, and confidence. We offer Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop and contemporary genres. Our focus each year is in dance productions which include some theater. Our students are given the opportunity to display their growth and talents to our community throughout the valley including some of our awarding winning choreography.

Ballet Pointe and or Hip Hop Instructor Duties and Responsibilities

Plan and teach dance classes.
Develop and implement lesson plans that are tailored to the needs of the class
Monitor and assess student progress and provide feedback
Work on Choreography, Improv, and technical skills
Choreograph a dance that is related to our production and theme
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other staff members
Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
Adhere to all safety regulations
Ballet Pointe and or Hip Hop Instructor Requirements and Qualifications

College experience or college graduate is preferred
1+ years of teaching experience in dance preferred
Creditable skill base in your dance style
Knowledge of multiple dance styles such as ballet, jazz, hip-hop, contemporary/modern is a plus
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Able to motivate and inspire students
Able to work with a diverse student population ages and skill level
Willing to support and promote modest music, movement, and dress code
Pay: DOE and # of classes teaching
