Valhalla Resort is a mountain resort destination bordering Rocky Mountain National Park with a mix of vacation cabins located in Estes Park, Colorado. Join a great team in the Colorado Rockies. Key responsibilities of a Front Desk Agent include:
-Make, confirm and cancel reservations for guests and answer a variety of questions for guests pertaining to their reservations.
-Checking guests in and out of the cabins in an efficient, courteous and professional manner
-Ensuring that special requests are noted and fulfilled
-Communicating with all departments regarding in house VIPs and any special requests/needs
-Interacting with crew members in a professional manner, assisting other departments with necessary information.
-Answering the telephone in a professional manner and assisting guests with any questions, directions, etc.
-Managing and resolving all guest complaints and compliments in a professional and courteous manner.
-Listening and responding to guest inquiries using a positive, clear speaking voice
-Maintaining an up to date working knowledge of all property amenities as well as any special events in the area.
-Answer inquiries pertaining to the resort's amenities, services, policies, area attractions, dining, and directions.
-Post charges for wood, copies or laundry or charges from the food, beverage or convenience store outlets.
-Working in a beautiful location helping people have a wonderful experience in Estes Park.
Job Requirements:
The ideal Front Desk Agent candidate will have at least one year of Front Desk Agent experience, exceptional communication skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for positive, upbeat individuals who can deliver total guest satisfaction.
The minimum qualifications for this position are:
Strong computer skills
Pleasant telephone demeanor
Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm, professional manner
Ability to stand, walk and move around during the entire shift
Must have the ability to communicate clearly and directly with guests using a positive, clear speaking voice
Candidates must have computer experience and be able to learn an online reservation system; must have working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Word or similar word processing program; must be proficient in at least one email system.
The successful candidate would be able to work in a busy office, and have excellent customer skills. This job includes constant interaction with customers. A positive friendly person is a must for this position.
Housing is available for employee only. Housekeeping experience a plus, we are a busy resort and all team members help and support each other.
Job Types: Full-time and Part-time position available
Salary: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
