JOB SUMMARY:
Urban Air Coon Rapids is seeking a qualified and energetic individual for the position of Facilities Apprentice. Applicants must possess the ability to work between 15-25 hours a week as needed to properly maintain the park safety standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Represent the brand philosophy by demonstrating a professional and positive attitude with inclusive mindset and good communication skills throughout the entire team
•Perform daily, weekly, and monthly inspections using our internal inspections app
•Help perform scheduled maintenance and upkeep of park attractions and equipment
•Inspect trampoline beds and replace broken springs on weekly basis as needed
•Repair and perform cleaning on third party vending throughout the facility
•Assist in quarterly deep cleaning projects that could be scheduled late evenings or overnight to not interfere with open business hours
•Enforce safety regulations, brand standards and policy procedures throughout the park
•Assist in the upkeep and cleaning standards of kitchen equipment as listed in product manuals
•Maintain clean and organized stock areas
•Perform safety related training for staff members
•Perform seasonal outdoor facilities upkeep and tasks such as garbage, leaves, snow removal and salting
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
•Knowledge of common power tools and safe handling of all tools and equipment
•Ability to climb vertical ladders, work at heights up to 20 feet with proper safety equipment, stand for long periods of time and lift and maneuver heavy objects up to 50lbs single lift
•Ability to work independently
•Complete a background check
•Provide 3-5 professional references
