Pearle Vision in Maple Grove, MN is a family owned and operated franchised eye care center.
We are 'on the hunt' for an outgoing retail associate to work with us, in a fast paced, lucrative medical - optical environment!
This medical-retail Optician position includes selling eyewear and contact lenses.
We’d love to meet some great people, with or without optical / medical experience, because we also love training those who want to learn about our profession.
Responsibilities of this career choice position:
Identify customer eyewear needs and then recommend the appropriate products; in other words, ensuring that they see optimally when they leave and that they look and feel amazing in their new eyewear!
Explain products (frames, lenses, contact lenses) and services to customers
Enhance the customer experience so that it becomes a memorable one (make it fun)
Enter and process customer orders
Investigate and resolve customer issues – we don’t have many ‘issues’ but we prefer to resolve any that pop up, immediately!
Hours: 4 days on/3 days off per week, Monday – Friday 9 am-8pm
Every other weekend Saturday 9am-6pm Sunday 11:30am-5pm
Sweet! Days off during the week????!
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a medical environment with sales (we can/will train the optical ???? segment)
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced happy environment
Ability to build relationships with customers
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong negotiation skills
