Champion Swim School in Jacksonville is hiring part-time instructors for our outdoor season. We swim at 5 different pools in the Jacksonville area. Classes begin April 1st and end Sept. 30th. We offer 20 hours per week and paid training. Instructors will work the same schedule for the entire outdoor season. Our motto is "We Champion your Child to be the Best Swimmer they can be!" Champion is looking for instructors who embody this value and care deeply about our swimmers on their path to safety and independence in the water. Swim lessons are often the first formal educational experience that children have and because of this we hold our instructors to the highest standard. Our first Champion Certification course is scheduled in March for instructors starting in April and May. Morning and Evening shifts available.

Responsibilities

Become Champion Certified in our proprietary learn-to-swim method
Follow our best practices
Interact with parents and help new swimmers get oriented
Attend ongoing training / in-service
Tracking attendance and hours remotely via apps
Qualifications

Lifeguard certified or willing to become lifeguard certified
Minimum 2 years experience working with Children
Some swim experience (recreational or competitive)
Reliable transportation
Smart phone (for clocking in and out, taking attendance)
Professional demeanor and appearance
