Job Description:
- Deploy a careful and creative program suitable for toddlers and preschool children
- Employ a variety of educational techniques, such as storytelling, educational play, media, and more, to teach the children
- Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem
- Responsible for general classroom management and supervision, which includes the personal care, hygiene, and positive
discipline of the children
- Encourage children to interact with each other and resolve occasional arguments
- Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum (identify
shapes, numbers, colors, and do crafts, etc.)
- Organize nap and snack hours and supervise children to ensure they are always safe
- Track children’s progress and report to parents
- Communicate with parents regularly to understand the children’s background and psyche
- Collaborate with other educators and keep the Director informed of any necessary information regarding the care and
safety of children
- Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards
- Comply with BK and all governmental regulations regarding the care of children
- Assist and accept responsibilities in other daily center duties that might be temporary in the event other personnel are not
available
- Arrive at the workplace regularly and on time, follows appropriate call-in procedures, and is dependable overall
- Use time wisely and take the initiative when appropriate
- Be a supportive and contributing member of the team
- Always maintain accreditation standards and licensing regulations
- Consistently demonstrate a positive and professional attitude

Requirements:
- Teaching experience and Childcare experience preferred
- Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Willing to obtain or already has 8 hours of Pediatric First Aid and Pediatric CPR/AED
- Meets education and experience criteria required by the state
-Meets Community Care Teacher Licensing requirements
- Able to lift and carry a 30-pound object
- Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (Required)

For Teachers:
-12-24 units of Child Development including core ECE classes.
- Complete a minimum of 12-semester units of coursework in early childhood education or child development (excluding
fieldwork), including at least one course of three-semester units in each of the following core areas:
- Child/human growth and development.
- Child, family, and community, or child and family relations programs/curriculum.
