Legendary Music Venue Offering Dynamic Sales Position!
Storied and iconic music venue, Boom Boom Room, is seeking sales professionals who are tenacious and willing to book corporate events at San Francisco’s most deeply heralded nightclub space. The Boom Boom Room has been a fixture in the San Francisco music scene for over 35 years, originating the genre of Fillmore Funk and hosting North America’s greatest musical influences for generations! This event space does carry long-standing heritage and credibility in the San Francisco music scene and ultimately sells itself. If these walls could talk…and their historical photographs speak volumes!

We are looking for eager and ambitious sales professional seeking an opportunity to grow your experience in a fresh landscape with a dynamic role for your resume.
You will be contacting and meeting event coordinators for local businesses and start ups. These coordinators will span the breadth of the company, or simply book events on behalf of their respective departments.
You should seek to cultivate relationships with these coordinators at every in-person interaction. With every booked company party, you can expect to be paid a generous commission for each party that you close for our historical event space. If the company decides to book another party this year, whether it’s summer/fall or winter, then you get paid commission for that party as well!
If you can build a good relationship with 1 contact, and if that person books more than one party, then you will get commissions throughout the year from them.
You should aim to build 4-5 contacts with event planners, and the money rolls in automatically.
The Job: You will have 2 sales meetings each week with us. You will provide updates on your contacts with each company and sector, how far along in the sales process you have gotten and what materials you will need to close.
We will provide you with materials regarding our rich history and business benefits.
You can expect generous commission rates as standard for each party that you book, and commissions will be paid that same month.
