Immediate openings for weekday, after school, early evening and weekends
MISSION
To provide families the opportunity to participate in a supervised visitation within a safe environment where family vulnerability will be reduced. These programs are available to allow parents to maintain a healthy relationship with their child/ren and to have the opportunity to continue their important role as a parent.
Qualified contracted visitation supervisors and parenting coaches are needed for Ramsey, Hennepin, Dakota, and Carver county. Duties would include, but are not limited to; providing parent education, supervising, and documenting court ordered visitations for county child protection cases and family law cases between noncustodial parents and their child(ren) to reunify children with their parents when possible.
In addition, parenting education and skills are also offered in child protection cases to further assist families. Duties would include, but not limited to: Role model and provide parenting skills to increase parents ability to increase positive experiences for parents in their children, teach one on one parent education, educate child developmental stages, provide parents constructive and structured guidance on their interaction with their children.
Supervised visitation and parenting education in Twin Cities and surrounding areas can be offered at our visitation center, as an in-home service, treatment center, or at an appropriate community setting.
Minimum requirement is a Bachelors degree in Social Work, Early Childhood Development, or related field. Experience in mental health as well as having knowledge in chemical dependency and domestic abuse is beneficial. A criminal background check is required for all applicants. In some cases, the transportation of a child may be required, therefore, it is required that all applicants have a reliable vehicle with valid and up-to-date insurance.
Families in Transition Services, Inc. is looking for a committed contractor to provide a flexible work schedule that includes weekdays, evenings, and weekend hours. Immediate openings for after school early evenings and weekends hours as they are in high demand. Must be willing to transport children in some cases. Car seat training will be provided. Conducting interviews for immediate openings for part time and full time positions.
