Goal: To help children grow physically, socially, emotionally and spiritually by introducing them to developmentally appropriate activities and curriculum. To teach children a foundational worldview that is based on the love of Jesus Christ.
Performance Responsibilities:
Instructional/ Professional:
1. Assists in implementing the daily program under the direction of the teacher and the director.
2. Assists in preparing the learning environment, setting up interest centers, and preparing needed materials and supplies, including providing all instruction from a Biblical perspective.
3. Assists in supervising the classroom, playground and bathroom; is responsible for managing the classroom, playground and bathroom in accordance with the school’s policy under the direction of the teacher and/or director; treats all children with dignity and respect.
4. Assists with general housekeeping tasks.
5. Maintains a professional attitude in communicating with the teacher, director, children, and parents.
6. Attends staff meetings, open houses, Back to School Night and training programs as
deemed necessary by director.
7. Is willing to fulfill responsibilities and procedures as presented in the Faculty Handbook.
8. Performs additional appropriate duties as assigned by the teacher and/or director.
Non-instructional and Professional:
1. Cooperates with administration in implementing all policies and procedures for the operation of the school.
2. Maintains regular accurate student attendance to meet the demand for a comprehensive knowledge of each student’s progress.
3. Accepts a share of responsibility for activities as assigned.
4. Will attend all devotionals, staff meetings and training sessions on time.
5. Utilizes educational opportunities and evaluation processes for professional growth.
Required to achieve at least 12 hours of training per year.
6. Knows and follows the procedures for dealing with emergency situations.
7. Informs the supervisor or sub coordinator in a timely manner if unable to fulfill any duty
assigned.

1. Exhibits the character of Christ in word, action, and attitude; this includes demonstrating the character qualities of enthusiasm, courtesy, flexibility, integrity, gratitude, kindness, self-control, perseverance, and punctuality.
2. Meets everyday stress with prayer, emotional stability, objectivity, and optimism.

partiality.

5. Maintains a personal appearance that is a role model of cleanliness, modesty, and good taste.
6. Uses acceptable English in written and oral communication.
7. Develops and maintains rapport with student, parents, and staff to promote a positive
learning environment.
8. Recognizes the need for good public relations; represents the school in a favorable and professional manner to its constituency and general public
9. Demonstrates and appreciation and understanding of the uniqueness of the local
community.
Valid First Aid/CPR Certification preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
