Dual surgeon household seeks a FULL-TIME CAREGIVER to care for their infant, expected to arrive on January 29th. The child will be 6 weeks at the time of start, which is March 1.  Mom will be on maternity leave and will help the nanny transition prior to returning to work. Hours are from 7am-5pm Monday-Thursday. Some flexibility is required Monday-Thursday evenings in the rare event that both parents have cases that keep them working past 5pm.

Duties include complete care of the infant and any household duties related to the child, such as the baby’s laundry, cleaning up after meals/feedings, keeping play areas and the nursery neat and tidy, etc. They would love a nanny who is versed in infant care and milestones and can help plan and carry out age-appropriate activities aiding in development. They have cameras in the living room and nursery.

Parents seek a nanny who has prior experience caring for a newborn (~6 weeks old) and transitioning to taking care of an infant/toddler as the baby grows. The ideal candidate is responsible, experienced with infant-toddler years, and educated/intellectually curious. A plus if you are bilingual (Russian preferred), but not a requirement. Parents' jobs require a nanny who is punctual and dependable, as well as flexible in the evenings to rarely stay later than expected. They seek a nanny who is a strong communicator. Someone who communicates any issues or concerns upfront instead of letting them stew. They like to keep a tension-free, peaceful home, and be collaborative with their nanny. Parents are laid back and seek a nanny who is easygoing as well. Must be vaccinated for tdap, influenza, COVID and boosters, MMR.

Benefits include paid sick days, holidays, and vacation. Pay is ~$25-30/hour (commensurate with experience). Start date is March 1st.
