Will maintain and run the day to day operations of the administrative and cadet networks. Designs, develops, and deploys new network technologies. Provide campus wide technical support for all network infrastructure and servers. Provide advice and counsel to management concerning the application and appropriateness of available computer technology to enhance efficiency and integrity of the campus networks.

Education: Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience and/or Microsoft
Certified Systems Engineer or equivalent experience.

Experience:
• Thorough knowledge and experience in working with TCP/IP, VOIP, DHCP, WINS, DNS, Telnet, T1/T3 and FTP technologies.
• Full understanding and significant experience with Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows Server 2003 - 2008 and other Windows based network application solutions.
• Complete knowledge of current network and internet technologies such as VLANs, Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, fiber optic cabling systems, Category 5 and above cabling systems.
• Experience with configuring VLANs, Cisco switches and routers.
• Experience with secure computing environments, firewalls.
