The Math Learning Center, located in San Francisco Noe Valley, has openings for regular part-time math instructors/teachers. We are looking for candidates that share our positivity and passion for teaching, math and motivating children to succeed. At Mathnasium, our teaching philosophy revolves around teaching math in a way that makes sense to kids, 1st grade through High School, and helping them gain confidence in their math knowledge with the goal of helping them improve in their math education. We focus on strengthening math fundamentals by building math skills and number sense.

We tutor year-round, so this is an opportunity for regular part-time work, 8-25 hours per week. You must be available at least two days a week in the afternoons for 3-4 hours at a time. All candidates are required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Be a good human
- Be able to work 3-4 days a week within the hours of 2:00-7:00
- Experience working with children as a teacher, tutor or mathematics instructor
- Exceptional math skills from basic operations through Algebra II
- Concise and adaptable communication skills
- Energetic, confident and mentoring personality
- Ability to tutor in a small group setting
- This is NOT a remote job, not a summer job. This is an in-person position.

Part-time Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
