Small integrated private practice looking to expand
Looking to hire someone with experience in mental health counseling. Must be willing to see clients ages 5-99. This is contract work, with days, evenings, or weekends to fit your schedule. Must be available to see a minimum of 10 clients a week. Must be located in Florida. Clients are seen in office and remote.
Some of the additional essential functions of the counselor/clinician:
· Provide initial screenings and assessment and provides ongoing assessments
· Work closely with nurse practitioner and mental health counselors
· Evaluates effectiveness and satisfaction with therapy services
· Requests documentation of past medical, psychiatric, substance abuse, and social history for each patient.
· Maintains, current, accurate, and comprehensive information in each record to include all activities, contacts, and communications.
· Obtains consents and releases of information when indicated.
· Documentation completed within 24 hours and reports to LCSW or PMHNP
Position Requirements:
· Min. Master’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counselor, Marriage and Family, Psychology, or Registered Nurse.
· Requires the ability to come into main office, travel to community agencies or facility visits.
· Strong communication skills are vital.
· Must have or obtain liability insurance
· Must be reliable, and able to work independently.
· Must have experience working with clients across the lifespan.
