Responsibilities:
• Our dispatcher organizes service calls so that an HVAC Service technician are sent to a variety of locations in a timely manner.
• Our dispatcher is responsible for providing logistical support to technicians and communicating with both fellow employees and customers.
• Dispatchers are ultimately responsible for informing customers of the progress of service operations while ensuring that technicians operate in a cost-effective fashion. In order to do this, a dispatcher must be able to match each available technician to a job based on that technician's skill level and location.
• Follow up on all pending and recommended work with customer utilizing the pending work log
• Create dispatch ticket for all service calls, dispatch Service Technicians, then debrief Technicians after completion of each call
• Create sales leads from service inquiries
• Check service work orders for accuracy
• Work with Credit Department to set up new customer accounts
• Maintain the dispatch board / schedule and forecast workload for 2 – 3 days out
• Perform Daily Debriefing of all field technicians
