We are a French inspired fine dining restaurant that's been operating for 34 years under the same ownership, looking for a Sous Chef. Business mainly consists of Lunch service running 11:30-2pm and Dinner Service 5pm to close (usually 10:30ish) 5 days a week (Closed Sundays and Mondays). Job Requirements

- Two years minimum as a line cook, kitchen management or Lead Line Cook experience a plus!

- We are willing to train any individual with less skill and the right attitude

- Food handlers card required or must obtain one within the first month of employment

- Fulfillment of opening procedures, consolidation of product, labeling and dating everything, proper storage of product, cleaning of kitchen, leaving the kitchen ready for opening

- FiFo of all products, organized, working clean, positive attitude

- Daily preparation of line items and during prep/cleaning during down times

-During Dinner Service working efficiently and consistently, while cleaning as you go to ensure an easy station breakdown at the end of the evening.

- Sense of urgency and doing the right thing a must. High integrity and personal accountability

- Professional communication with guests and coworkers

- Excellent Reliability and Punctuality. We aim to provide consistent scheduling every week. Multiple call-outs and late shows do not allow consistent scheduling and therefore aren't tolerated.

-Must have reliable transportation to work.

Pay: $20.00/hour with possibility for an increase following a probationary period depending on experience

Experience:

line cook: 2 years (Preferred)
License/Certification: Food Handler Certification (Required)
