Machine Operator
JOB DESCRIPTION: MACHINE OPERATOR
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Loading and unloading material onto continuous moving machinery or packaging finished with Cranes and Hooks
• Operating forklift
• Setting up and preparing machinery for production
• Ensuring product quality by performing inspection and monitoring process
• Maintain clean and orderly work area and perform routing cleanup duties within shop
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Crane, Hoist and forklift operation.
• Ability to operate machinery in a safe and efficient manner at all times
• Ability to accurately use measuring instruments and perform basic math operations
• Ability to communicate in English
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Education and Experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• A minimum of one or more year experience operating heavy machinery, forklift and crane

Physical Demands
• Light to Heavy Lifting. Must be able to lift 55 lbs. to pick up bed height on a regular basis. Must be able to stand, sit, grip, pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, and walk for extended periods.
