Amazing family is seeking a FULL-TIME nanny to help with their 2 children, a 4-year-old boy, and a 4-month-old girl Monday-Friday from 9:30AM-5:30PM, with the flexibility to arrive early or stay late (60-90 mins). The 4-year-old will be in preschool until 3PM M-F and the infant will be at home. They are looking for a team-oriented nanny to become an extension of their family who can assist the mom with the baby’s nursing schedule while she works from home. When the oldest son is at school and the infant is breastfeeding or napping, the nanny should take the initiative to do light housework and be self-motivated. Their son is happy, full of energy, and curious about the world around him. He enjoys being active and being outdoors, singing, playing with toy vehicles, and building things. He loves to laugh and to make others laugh. Their 4-month-old daughter is a happy, calm baby. The nanny will need their own transportation to pick the 4-year-old up from school daily and potentially take both children to play dates. Must have reliable personal transportation, a valid driver's license, a clean driving record and must be a strong swimmer. The family will reimburse for gas/mileage. Duties include cooking for the children, light cleaning, laundry for the children, and cleaning up after the kids at the end of the day. The nanny should have previous experience caring for infants and previous experience caring for multiple children at once. The perfect candidate will enjoy being outdoors and should show initiative and creativity in finding new, age-appropriate activities for the children. They are looking for a nanny with a positive attitude who will adopt an approach with their children consistent with “gentle parenting.” Additionally this family is seeking a nanny with a strong sense of good judgement and will communicate the childrens needs and situations with the parents openly. Start date is ASAP, Pay is $25/hr. Potential for date nights as needed with advance notice.
Benefits include paid sick days, and paid vacation. Nanny must be up to date on all vaccinations including tdap, influenza, covid, and booster. Relocation assistance is not provided.
