Warehouse Associate
We are looking for full time warehouse associates to join or team!
Job Summary
The successful candidate for a Warehouse Worker is responsible for customer service, order processing, picking/packing, shipping/receiving, and organization of the warehouse.
Requirements
Able to work additional hours as needed to meet customer demands
Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials
Ability to frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 pounds
Ability to be trained and certified to operate a forklift and cherry picker
Ability to document information by entering, storing, recording information both written and electronic
Ability to routinely use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, and standard warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, box cutters and commercial tape dispensers
Operate with a high degree of integrity and accountability
Follow verbal instructions and use simple math
Maintain appropriate conduct
Adhere to the company's policies at all times
Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent
Duties & Responsibilities
Shipping & Receiving
Responsible for preparing orders, pulling materials, packing boxes, placing orders in delivery area;
Maintaining inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests;
Storing items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses and other areas;
Packing and unpacking items to be stocked in warehouse;
Examining and inspecting stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors;
Handling and moving objects manually or with a forklift;
Sales & Client Relations:
Corresponding with shipper to rectify damages and shortages;
Safe Work Practices:
Maintaining the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations;
