Successful Math Learning Centers are seeking part-time math instructors who love to teach math, love to work with kids, and are comfortable teaching elementary, middle or high school students. Instruction is delivered in an attractive setting with up to 3 students per instructor at our Hillsborough and Plainsboro centers. Students work through their own customized curriculum so there is no lesson planning required on the part of the instructor.
Responsibilities:
 Provide effective and concise one-on-one math instruction using our proprietary materials and preferred teaching methods.
 Assist in tracking the progress of each student using checklists provided.
 Engage in initial and on-going training.
Requirements:
 Must be friendly, patient, outgoing, confident, flexible, trustworthy, passionate, excited, and energetic.
 Also must have a good sense of humor and a professional attitude.
 Must have enrolled, or be currently enrolled in either a Community College or a four-year college.
 Experience in math teaching or math tutoring with children between the ages of 6 and 17 a plus.
 Must pass a math test that covers topics through Algebra 1 and Geometry.
 Must have or be able to quickly learn how to balance time instructing up to 3 students working on different materials.
 Must be available from 4pm-8pm at least 2 weekdays. A plus to be also available on Saturdays.
