Cleaning Technician
~Cleaning Technician Sought by Woman-Owned Company, Self-Directed Schedule~
Our fast-growing local cleaning company is seeking a new star Cleaning Technician, someone who wants to deliver a superior, thorough, and consistent cleaning service at every visit. This person should have a strong work ethic and strive to be proud of everything they do—those skills translate to someone we want to work with!

The position of "Cleaning Technician" offers both one-time and consistent (weekly, bi-weekly, and/or monthly) cleaning projects. The general structure of what you can expect with our company is:
1.) Invitations for jobs will be emailed to you on a regular basis. Some of those jobs are recurring and may be regularly available. You will be invited to solo cleaning opportunities, as well as cleaning services requiring 2-4 cleaners to a team. The number of required cleaners will be noted on your invitation.
2.) Jobs may be scheduled to occur between the hours of 9am and 11pm any day of the week or weekend or in the evenings. You have the option to work none, some, or all of the jobs offered. All we ask for is open, forthcoming communication about your availability and the integrity to follow through with your time commitment, barring extreme circumstances.
3.) The company will then assign technicians to jobs, depending on various factors. Please, ensure you have downloaded the ZenMaid app and are regularly checking to view your schedule, which is populated with your assigned jobs in real time. *Note: Just because you have accepted an invitation does NOT mean you have been assigned to it. You must stay aware of your schedule on the ZenMaid app.
4.) If you have been assigned to a job, you will receive work orders prior to your assigned jobs.
5.) You will clock in and out when you begin and end work on a jobsite for liability and tracking purposes. Remember, you will be paid based on a per project share, not hourly.
6.) Checks are mailed weekly on Fridays.
The contracting process will begin with scheduling you for a brief virtual video interview with our owner, Allie. If you're a fit with the company and vice versa, you'll be invited to clean some upcoming accounts and will be given the opportunity to take on more projects as time progresses.
Please note, this position is classified as one for an Independent Contractor. This means you are responsible to withhold all your own taxes and file accordingly at tax time. You will receive a 1099 from the company if you have been paid more than $600 during the previous fiscal year.
This position requires you to:
-have no felony convictions within the past 7 years.
-have no convictions of any kind relating to theft or violent crimes.
-have an operable, reliable vehicle.
-have a high school diploma.
