We are seeking a motivated Porter at our Luxury Active Adult Community located in Johns Creek. Hours are Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. Pay starting at $16+/Hour. Smoke Free Community. Submit a resume to ------------.

Salary is commensurate with experience.

The Porter is responsible for cleaning the community and light maintenance work such as changing lightbulbs, filters, smoke detector batteries and more. You’ll work to get an apartment unit ready for a new resident and assist the maintenance supervisor as needed. We work as a team to accomplish our goals here at OneStreet. So, being a team player is an absolute must!

Porter ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Ensure the appearance of the community is top notch. This includes the community office, model apartment, amenity areas, grounds, etc.
- Perform regular custodial duties around the property, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and removing trash in and around designated areas.
- Complete grounds work as directed by Maintenance Supervisor and/or Community Manager including picking up trash, blowing the parking area and sidewalks, removing cobwebs, touch up paint at entrances and common areas, pressure washing, painting curbs and assisting with regular preventative maintenance.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the trash rooms and compactors.
- Support the team when community events are taking place.
- Complete service orders in an efficient and timely manner.
SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

- High school graduate/GED.
- Must have reliable transportation and automobile insurance.
- Proficient in reading and writing of the English language.
- Must be able to interact and communicate effectively with residents, guests, vendors and staff.
- Willing to perform all required tasks and is self-motivated.
- Knowledgeable of work safety habits.
- Conscientious of the details.
- Organized and can prioritize work.
- Able to work independently and as a team member

Due to the physical nature of this position, the individual must be able to pick up and/or push/pull 50+lbs, pick up and move heavy items as needed (e.g. blower, ladder, etc.), and climb up and down stairs and ladders. This position requires work to be performed in both indoor and outdoor environments, in both hot and cold temperatures. This position requires the associate to be on his/her feet for extended periods. Must be able to walk consistently throughout the day in and around the building.
