The ideal candidate is responsible for the day to day running of the studio.
Main responsibilities include but are not limited to: -Coordinating class schedule and maintaining classes to start and finish on time
-Managing attendance, accepting payments -Working with community to promote the different dance programs offered at the studio
-Attract new students through sales/marketing -Update and generate new materials (handbooks & training guides)
Administrative Responsibilities: -Manage emails, mail and telephones -Maintain organizational memberships
Qualifications: * Passion for arts * Experience being in the commercial dance world is preferable * Strong and concise communication skills, both oral and written * Well organized with great attention to detail * Comfort working in a fast-paced environment * Ability to act with diplomacy and patience under pressure * Punctual, reliable and dedicated and familiarity with an office environment * Knowledge of MindBody Software is a plus. Two+ years of customer service and administrative experience required.
This is initially ~ 30 hours a week position with possibility of making a full time position. Monday-Thursday, 4:00 pm-9:00 pm and Saturday, 9:30 pm-1:30 pm. There are occasional event on Sundays.
Compensation * Salary commensurate with experience; Health/Dental will be part of the compensation.
