Manufacturing Associate
Job description
We are Symphony Natural Health, a unique company dedicated to creating high quality dietary supplements that support healthy living for all kinds of people.
We are looking for new Manufacturing Associates for our facility in West Valley City, just off Redwood near the Maverik Center. Come learn and grow with us as we expand our operations. New opportunities are coming in quality, manufacturing, sanitation, and more. We are a small team and provide stable employment through all seasons.
Job Duties:
Assemble finished goods according to specifications
Perform (repetitive) manual activities to support manufacturing
Assist Manufacturing Operator(s) in handling raw materials for milling, blending, encapsulation, and packaging operations
Inspect work to ensure all quality standards are met or exceeded
Clean and sanitize as needed according to GMP guidelines
Work independently or as part of a team depending on the schedule
Complete documentation as needed for work areas
Support training of new Manufacturing Associates
Other duties in facility as needed for daily operations
Requirements:
Able to perform all duties listed above once trained
Able to lift and move items up to 50lb without assistance or 100lb with assistance
Able to stand and work safely around large machinery for extended periods
Team oriented with good written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable with basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
Good hand-eye coordination. Experience with tools a plus
Preferred:
Prior dietary supplement or food manufacturing experience
Bilingual (English and another language - tell us about you!)
