Sales Intern

This is an entry level position, but for the right person, this position can evolve very quickly to a much larger opportunity as our company continues to grow. The company has had year over year growth, and with the expansion of our facilities after a decade of being in business, we are gearing up to go into major NEW product development.
Job Duties:
Lead generation via Google, social media, and customer lists provided
Research potential customers and prospects
Cold calling, cold calling, cold calling
Be coachable and team-oriented
Answer incoming calls from prospective customers
Use scripts to provide information about products features, prices etc. and present their benefits
Ask pertinent questions to understand the customers requirements
Persuade the customer to buy by demonstrating how merchandise or services meet their needs
Record all daily activity as well as the customers business information accurately into our CRM (ZOHO)
Go the extra mile to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales
Requirements:
- Basic computer skills, managing a CRM
- Basic knowledge (or willingness to learn) of the counterculture industry
- Reliable, punctual, responsible, motivated
- Able to handle objections over the phone
- Must be able to establish friendly relationships with customers - personality matters!
- Persistent and results-oriented
