Electrical Helper/Laborer

kW Efficiency is seeking full-time, professional, motivated individuals looking for long term career growth in the green energy industry. Main duties include installing interior and exterior light fixtures and systems, under the guidance of an experienced electrician. Previous experience preferred.

Must meet the following qualifications:

· Must be able to pass a Level 2 Background Check and Drug Test

· OSHA 10 required (kW will cover the cost of certification and the 10 hour online class).

· Be able to always represent him or herself in a professional manner in written and oral communications, dress, and appearance.

· Have a valid driver's license.

· Be able to work 1st, or 2nd shift.

· Be able to perform routine and repetitive tasks, work easily and skillfully with hands, climb, and maintain balance on scaffolds or ladders. See well (naturally or with correction) and distinguish colors; Reach for, handle, and grasp wires and hand tools; Bend, crouch, and work in small places; and lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted, bending, standing crouching, climbing, and walking.

· Have a strong technical and problem-solving aptitude.

Compensation $17.00 per hour, commensurate with experience. Training provided as well as a track for performance bonuses, advancement, and promotions.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Assist Electricians with troubleshooting, testing, maintaining, repairing, installing, and modifying electrical systems and infrastructure such as interior and exterior lighting and controls, power circuits, wiring, and devices.
Complete all tasks adhering to NEC, ADAAA, and other applicable codes and standards.
Assist with preventative electrical maintenance.
Help with the installation of electrical equipment.
Follow complex directions with attention to detail and know how to use job related hand tools.
Work from aerial lift and elevated platforms.
Maintain records for repairs performed by completing work orders and other paperwork.
Pick up parts from supply houses as needed for repairs.
Clean and organize workstation, equipment and mechanical rooms to maintain a safe work environment.
Promote and adhere to all recognized safety practices and standards.
Assist other trades as needed.
Provide service excellence through courteous, informed, accessible, and professional engagement.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
