Southwest Montessori School located in southwest Minneapolis is hiring for an assistant teacher position for the 2022-23 school year, starting in September. Position is 30 hours a week, 11-5 M-F. We are a small intimate school with a great community of children and families. We are looking for someone who is passionate about the Montessori method and understands working with children ages 3-6. Montessori experience or assistant teacher training preferred but willing to train. Job responsibilities include assisting lead guide in the classroom, supervising children during nap and outdoors, cleaning, closing and/or opening the school and helping prepare the Montessori environment.
