Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedule. Self organized, follow directions and remember things that have been discussed/explained. Dependable and punctual for all work-related commitments.
Assist the lead Estimator to create final bids. Create monthly billings as needed, communicate with Vendors/Customers as needed.
Distribute employee documents, maintain filing system. consolidate weekly hours for payroll, manage submittals of any reimbursable expenses.
Computer Skills: Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Adobe) working knowledge of project management software. Willingness to test and implement new technologies as they become available.
Setting up and maintaining project contact list and email groups
Filing and organizing the project file.
Writing Change Orders, Meeting Minutes, Purchase Orders, verifying Invoices against P.O.'s, some project tracking and analysis in terms of expenses, working with the field supervisors (mainly entering reported data into existing project budgets). Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work accordingly.
Strong team-player with a can do attitude.
Strong computer skills, utilizing Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Acrobat, Power Point
Excellent business writing and communication skills a must. You will need the ability to think out of the box to solve problems quickly and completely.
