Internship – Sales and Operations


Job Description

We are looking for someone passionate about the Commercial Real Estate and Development industry who would like to learn in a real-life in person office setting a variety of sales and operations related tasks. This includes calling prospects and sales leads, project coordination of weekly client meetings, executing on sales and marketing strategies, and more.

SCGWest is a full service commercial real estate development and design/build firm headquartered in Irvine, CA specializing in corporate & commercial retail properties. Over the past decade, SCGWest has worked with some of the nation’s largest retailers, restaurateurs, and investors continuously helping their projects come to life.

To be successful as an Intern, you should be willing to learn and help with any tasks assigned by a supervisor. You will be involved in upcoming projects as well as assisting with current campaigns.

We provide training with all tasks for this unpaid internship.


Requirements

The ideal candidate will be a college student or a recent graduate in the fields of marketing, business, or a similar related field.


Responsibilities

- Work and learn from our sales team on prospecting leads (such as cold calling, messaging through social media platforms, sending out marketing materials, etc.), contacting cities for upcoming projects, and other lead generation initiatives.
- Learn the creation of the sales lifecycle and help manage accounts through Salesforce.
- Creation and distribution of Weekly Reports and Meeting Summaries to clients as needed.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
- Other duties assigned.
