Journeyman Meat Company is a dynamic new business begun in 2017 that produces world-class, artisan salumi, bacon and sausages. Journeyman has Wine country’s only USDA certified salumi and meat plant, located in Cloverdale, along with a stylized salumeria in Healdsburg. We self-distribute in Sonoma and Napa counties and work with a distributor in the Bay Area. The Sales, Fulfillment, and Inventory Coordinator is officed in our Cloverdale facility. They are responsible for the daily fulfillment of sales and maintaining an accurate inventory of finished goods. The workday for this position starts at 7:30 AM, Monday through Friday. This a 30-40 hour a week commitment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following duties and any other service deemed necessary by the Employer:
Sales & Fulfillment:
• Communicate with customers
• Manage client profiles (including taking orders, answering questions, and coordinating delivery)
• Complete Order Forms
• Create Packing Slips with quantities by product and lot dates
• Create Invoices and email them to accounting contacts
• Maintain up-to-date contact records of each wholesale account
• Send collections emails to accounting contacts
• Maintain wholesale pricing/product sheet
• Know all wholesale procedures, prices, and minimum order quantities
• Create daily delivery schedule and direct Journeyman’s Delivery Driver
• Oversee and assist the Order Fulfillment Associate in fulfilling orders, including picking merchandise, packing, and shipping orders, and assembling holiday gift box orders for customer to pick up at Journeyman’s retail butcher shop in Healdsburg
• Coordinate the fulfillment of our Salumi Club shipment four times per year and our Bacon Club shipment twice per year
• Schedule shipping/pickups with UPS and US Postal Service
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Inventory:
• Assist with maintaining finished goods inventory spreadsheets
• Work with Journeyman’s retail butcher Shop Manager on inventory movement between the meat plant in Cloverdale and the retail butcher shop in Healdsburg
• Ensure management team is aware of any finished goods inventory issues (e.g., out of stock, aging lot dates, etc.) at weekly production planning meetings
• Conduct physical count of sample inventory – weekly
• Assist with end-of-year physical inventory
• Assist with implementation of future inventory software system
Office Management & Supply:
• Maintain Journeyman’s office spaces and resources
• Streamline processes and procedures for improving efficiency
• Take messages and direct inquiries
• Office Supplies/Packing Supplies/Spice Supplies Ordering
• Manage maintenance of Journeyman’s delivery van
Necessary Qualities:
• Experience managing a small staff
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software (Excel and Word), Gmail and Google Sheets
• Experience managing inventory and tracking lot dates
• Experience working in product fulfillment
• Must have attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds
• Must be able to lift, stack, and move lightweight cases on a regular basis unassisted
• Repetitive lifting and bending
• Must be dependable with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and correctly
• Quick learner and great listener
• Can-do/will-do attitude and initiative
• Reliable transportation to and from work
Helpful Qualities:
• Positive and flexible attitude
• Experience with shipping software (UPS and Shippo)

Job Type: Part-Time / Full-Time (30 – 40 hours per week)
Compensation: $23 - $27 per hour, depending on experience
