The Apple Truck

Together we will realize the vision of delivering Michigan apples while fostering a culture of inclusion and empowerment for team members to own their work, create joy, and grow personally and professionally.
On our fall 2022 tour, you will successfully execute our The Apple Truck box distribution while serving our customers with a friendly and positive attitude. This is a customer-facing position and you will work at our distribution sites in Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, South Carolina and Florida. While working a tour, you will engage with customers and educate them on the Company and the proper care and uses of Michigan apples. This is a seasonal position. Must be available to work the fall tour schedule dates September 6 - November 11.
Responsibilities
Represent the Company at our locations
Sell apples and other products to customers in a friendly and efficient manner
Give consistent and high-quality customer service
Educate customers on the proper conditioning process for apples
Greet all customers who are within a close vicinity of the booth
Assist with set up and tear down branded booths and product display
Be familiar with all apple products
Assist customers with loading boxes into their vehicles
Operate a point-of-sale system
Work in varying weather conditions
Engage and communicate with customers
Qualifications
18 years of age or older
A great attitude and a strong work ethic
Access to a personal smartphone
Ability to work independently without direct supervision at all times
Availability for the hired tour dates
A passion to make the customer experience the top priority
Valid driver's license
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Ability to interact with team in a fast-paced environment while remaining flexible and proactive
NOTE: The tour typically has multiple tour stops 4 - 5 days per week, other days are typically travel and/or off days. This job is physically and mentally demanding and you will be traveling the entire length of your contract with a few exceptions
