WorkAbilities is a day support services program with approximately 70 employees and 250 adult clients with varying needs for support. We are open from 8:00-4:00 and the hours for the DSP position is 9:00am-4:00pm Monday - Friday. The starting wage is $20/hour. We offer full benefits for this 35-hour work week. This is a super fun environment for people that like to be creative and active and for people that have a positive attitude about life. There are some cares for some, but the majority of the day is spent engaged in fun activities. Some of the activities include an annual carnival, going to Twins games, going to the state fair, gardening, adaptive exercise, karoke, art, music and cooking classes. We have excellent long-term staff, with 57% remaining employed for over 5 years, many at 10 years, and quite a few over 20-30 years.
